Based upon the D853 Tuscan (see Vandal & Weather Resistant, Linear section) this version is designed to provide safe illumination of corridors, walkways, landings and other similarly vulnerable areas of prison type environments.

The fitting incorporates very strong vandal resistant lighting with a four-compartment trunking system for power, telephones, TV, alarm, door opening, CCTV or other required services neatly behind the lighting fittings.

Available in 45 degree angle with straight sections supplied in 1800mm lengths.

Zinc coated steel body finished in chemical and abrasion resistant textured white polyester powder coat.

Clear diffused polycarbonate shallow dish sealed into heavy gauge steel frame with gasket.

Frame held to body by tamperproof countersunk stainless steel screws. Between each fitting a steel front plate, finished white, covers trunking again held by stainless steel tamperproof screws.

The optional addition of a "ski slope" is available mounted on top of the system which helps to prevent the build up of dust, dirt and importantly, the unauthorised hiding of objects by inmates.

Each system will be manufactured to suit project requirements utilising either 18, 36 or 58w T8 or, if preferred, T5 lamps as appropriate.

NOTE: System comprises straight sections and 90º external or internal bends.

On site cutting of body sections, trunking, lids and ski slope will enable accurate completion of projects.

In some areas alternative versions of the trunking system are preferred.

For example instead of the use of Tuscan fittings within the system Quadrant bulkhead fittings can be used. Again our technical sales office will assist with design information.
